From the East (Asheville, North Carolina):
  • Follow I-40 West to Exit 27 which is Hwy 74.
  • Follow Hwy 74 for 31 miles (Do NOT take Hwy 19 towards Maggie Valley and Cherokee unless you want to travel on a mountain road with 7% grade).
  • Take Exit 74 which is Hwy 441 North to Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountains.
  • Go 4 miles to the second traffic light
  • Turn right onto Hwy 441 North Business
  • Go 1 mile to stoplight and turn right onto Hwy 19 North.
  • Go 3 miles to Happy Holiday which is on the left.
From the West (Knoxville, Tennessee):
  • Follow I-40 East to Exit 20 which is Hwy 276 South
  • Go 10 miles to stoplight and turn left, still following 276 South (Do NOT take Hwy 19 towards Maggie Valley and Cherokee unless you want to travel on a mountain road with 7% grade).
  • Follow 276 South to stoplight and turn right.
  • Go 1 mile and turn right onto Hwy 74 West.
  • Follow Hwy 74 West for 25 miles to exit 74 and turn right onto 441 North
  • Go 4 miles to the second traffic light
  • Turn right onto Hwy 441 North Business
  • Go 1 mile to stoplight and turn right onto Hwy 19 North.
  • Go 3 miles to Happy Holiday which is on the left.
From the South (Atlanta, GA):
  • Follow I-85 North to I-985.
  • Take I-985 to Hwy 23. Hwy 23 will join with Hwy 441 North.
  • Follow 23/441 North until it joins Hwy 74
  • Follow Hwy 74 West / 441 North to Exit 74.
  • Take Exit 74 which is Hwy 441 North to Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountains.
  • Go 4 miles to the second traffic light
  • Turn right onto Hwy 441 North Business
  • Go 1 mile to stoplight and turn right onto Hwy 19 North.
  • Go 3 miles to Happy Holiday which is on the left.
